Answer: Numb

Meg was signed by Atlantic Records in 2012. With that label, she released two EPs and one full record, "Sorry". "Numb" is about her struggle with Atlantic Records. In the lyrics she says "I can be your next big thing... If you force it won't come, I guess I'm feeling numb." On her website, Meg adds that it's also about her early childhood as well, saying it was easier to shut down and lose all feeling rather than facing the issues surrounding her.

In the official music video for "Numb," everyone surrounding Meg constantly gets in her face and smothers her.

She runs from them over and over again. The final image is a very angry Meg and yet another person about to start harassing her.

Answer: Make A Shadow

"Make A Shadow" is the eighth track off of "Sorry". It was also the name of Meg's second EP, containing the same song. The lyrics in question, she sings higher than other sections of the song. She adds, "We gotta wait inside the shadow, don't get old, don't get old." Meg released a second EP called "Daughter In The Choir".

Meg met Doctor Rosen Rosen in Los Angeles. He signed her to his production company and they released her two EPs after writing songs together. In "Tennessee" Meg sarcastically sings about her birthplace, accompanied by low "yeahs" from Doctor Rosen Rosen. Meg compared him to having a brother, but said that change was the only way to grow.

Answer: The Death Of Me

The sixth track off of "Take Me To The Disco" is called "The Death Of Me" and it's a duet. In this song, Meg sings with her new producer, Christian "Leggy" Langdon. It's about a relationship, going back and forth with how she feels about it: "This love's worth fighting for... and sometimes it don't feel right, like you're my enemy... and sometimes I question whether you'll be the death of me..."

Answer: Ignorance

"I lost my innocence to your ignorance," Meg sings in the song "Little Black Death". This is the tenth track on her second full album, and it's a personal song about the loss of innocence and love. She adds, "A part of me died last night. You killed my faith in romance, no more second chances."

Answer: Jealous Sea

"Jealous Sea" is the fifth track off of "Take Me To The Disco," which was released in the US in June 2018. In it, Meg sings about trying to stop being jealous, understanding it doesn't fit smart logic, but failing. "I want you to tell me what to do, I want you to tell me what you need...

When you look at me like you do, don't leave, I just can't get enough!" It was the third single from the album and the official video was released in October of 2018. In the official music video, Meg is jealous of a man interacting with another woman; later, she walks through a city with her heart a bright, shining purple.

Answer: Parade

"Parade" was not released on any past albums by Meg Myers. The trio of "Make A Shadow," "Desire," and "The Morning After" previously appeared on her EP "Make A Shadow". Released in 2014, it also featured the songs "Go" and "Heart Heart Head". "Parade" is a slow, sad song and features lovely strings in the background.

Answer: Desire

Anyone familiar with Nine Inch Nails' "Closer" can remember their heated lyrics and primal eagerness! MTV called "Desire" "the female answer to Nine Inch Nails' 'Closer'." In it, Meg sings "Desire, I'm hungry... I hope you feed me... how do you want me?" Both songs are passionate and it's easy to see the comparison.

Answer: Sorry

"Sorry" is the second track off of the album that shares its name. In it, she is sad at the loss of love, but also slightly sarcastic, asking, "What do you want me to say... 'Sorry I lost our love' until the end of time?" "Sorry" reached number 16 on the US Alternative Rock chart in 2015, making it her biggest hit as of 2018.

In the music video, the scenes change between an adult Meg and herself as a child; she revisits her childhood home with a baseball bat and demolishes several parts of it.

Answer: Feather

"Feather" is the final track off of Meg's first full album. She creates incredible imagery in her lyrics: "A television teases paradise... I'm praying on my knees 'cause I want to fly... get up, get up, get up, feather... be free..." The chorus describes her flying despite her broken wings. It's an uplifting song and an excellent song to end an album.
