Answer: Charles Manson

The song "Bwomp" was first released on Mushroomhead's second album "Superbuick" in 1996. It was re-released on the album "XX" in 2001. The song features the lyrics, "If it was up to me I'd free Charles Manson". Charles Manson (1934-2017) was the leader of a cult known as the Manson Family.

He was convicted for the murder of seven people including actress Sharon Tate in 1969. Charles Manson was incarcerated in several prisons in California. The sign in the photo stands at one of the entrances to Folsom State Prison, where Manson had once been housed.

Answer: Rembrandt

"Solitaire/Unraveling" was featured on the Mushroomhead album "M3" in 1999. It was also re-released on the album "XX" in 2001. In this song, the singer mentions that he has "Rembrandt on my right hand, (Han) Solo as my pilot". Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) was a famous Dutch painter.

The painting in the photograph is known as "The Night Watch" which can be viewed along with many of Rembrandt's other paintings at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

"Your Soul is Mine" was featured on the soundtrack of "Saw VI", released in 2009. The "Saw" movie franchise is centered around a serial killer named John Kramer (aka Jigsaw). There are eight films in the "Saw" series, with American actor Tobin Hall playing the role of Jigsaw. The photo features several circular saws cutting into a log.

"Sun Doesn't Rise" is a Mushroomhead song that appears on the album "XIII", released in 2003. Some other notable tracks from "XIII" are "Nowhere to Go", "Our Own Way" and "One More Day". "Sun Doesn't Rise" was featured on the soundtrack for the horror movie "Freddy vs. Jason" in 2003. The photo is of the sun rising up behind a rocket platform.

The song "Crazy" was first released by the singer Seal on his self-titled album in 1991. The song was covered by Mushroomhead and released as a hidden track on several versions of the "XIII" album in 2003. The photograph features a showman attempting to escape from a straitjacket while being suspended by a crane.

"The Scorpion King" was released in 2002 and featured former WWE wrestler Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) as the main character. "The Scorpion King" was a spinoff of the movie "The Mummy Returns". The soundtrack for "The Scorpion King" featured the song "Along the Way" by Mushroomhead.

It also contained songs from other prominent metal bands such as Godsmack, Rob Zombie and System of A Down.

Answer: Qwerty

The album "The Righteous & The Butterfly" was released by Mushroomhead in 2014. It featured tracks such as "Qwerty" and "Out Of My Mind". The title for "Qwerty" refers to the key layout on a typewriter or computer keyboard. The QWERTY format was first used on typewriters manufactured by E. Remington and Sons in 1873.

The QWERTY letter format was originally implemented to prevent the typewriter from jamming by spreading out common letters.

Answer: the cross thing

"The New Cult King, doing the cross thing". "The New Cult King" was also released on Mushroomhead's "M3" album in 1999 and again released on "XX" in 2001. "XX" was the first Mushroomhead album to be released by a major record label (Eclipse Records). It is a compliation of songs featured on Mushroomhead's first three albums, "Mushroomhead", "Superbuick" and "M3" which were all released independently.

Answer: Jeffrey Hatrix

Jeffrey "Nothing" Hatrix was one of the vocalists of Mushroomhead. He debuted with the band in 1993 and remained with Mushroomhead until Spring 2018. Throughout the band's history many of their original members left to pursue other endeavors. As of the end of 2018, only Mushroomhead's original drummer Steve Felton has remained with the band since it formed.

Answer: Slipknot

Mushroomhead and Slipknot have been involved in a rivalry since both bands look and sound very similar to one another, with each featuring multiple band members dressed in masks and costumes. There are some people that think Mushroomhead may have copied off of Slipknot's style. Mushroomhead formed in Ohio in 1993, two years before Slipknot.

However, Slipknot signed with a major record label (Roadrunner Records) before Mushroomhead. The photograph is a sign welcoming drivers to the American state of Iowa. Iowa is the home of Slipknot, as well as the title of one of their albums.
