"No matter where I'm at, no matter where I go
I'll be singing for you on the radio
Like oh, oh, oh, radio, oh, oh
Well you could be in Nashville, and I could be in France
And here's a little something just to make you dance
Like oh, oh, oh, radio, oh, oh"

and

Alesha Dixon's "Radio" sounds like this:
"Pop, rock, rhythm and blues
Anything you've got
I don't have time to choose
Big speakers
I'll sing along
Last request D.J.
I need a song."

Hot Chelle Rae included rapper Bei Maejor on this one song fro the album "Whatever." Their "Radio" was credited as being written y all the band members: Ryan Follese, Nash Overstreet, Emanuel Kiriakou, Evan Kidd Bogart, Bryan Folk, Brandon Green, and Lindy Robbins.
In an interview Alesha Dixon explained the song this way: "'Radio' is about what a lot of people experience on a daily basis - wanting to escape from heartbreak, but hearing it all the time on the radio."
4. Darius Rucker's song "Radio" goes like this: "Ridin' down the highway Who wants to be the DJ I'll find a spot on the side of the road You find something on the radio." What band did Darius Rucker achieve fame and fortune with previous to embarking on his solo career?

Answer: Hootie and the Blowfish

"Radio" is from Mr. Rucker's 2013 solo album "True Believers." He described the song this way: "It's a nice little Country song about the way we grew up. I didn't have much growing up but the car radio was everything. You're driving around listening to the songs, especially when you're getting to high school. 'Radio' is about that time in life where music is all that matters."
5. This American hard rock band's "Radio" (2010) goes like this: "Way back when before the vacuum tube Tesla was working on a deeper groove Marconi had the money just to get it all made Tesla had the skills but Marconi got paid" ...and this country music chanteuse's song "Rory's Radio" (2011) goes like this: "Y'all, Rory's radio played Hank's "Major Moves" Fishin' in the dark, doin' anything we wanted to do I was fifteen but I thought that I was twenty five I was dreamin' so many dreams, havin' the time of my life I could go anywhere I wanted to go I was listenin' to Rory's radio." Who are the two artists of these two different songs?

Answer: Rival Sons, and Ashton Shepherd

Rival Sons is from Long Beach, California, forming their blues rock/hard rock band there in 2008. Their song "Radio" comes from the only EP they have released (June 20, 2010), called "Rival Sons". In 2012 They were also voted 'Best New Band' by listeners of Planet Rock Radio, a radio station in England.

Ms. Ashton Shepherd's song comes from her 2011 album "Where Country Grows" She wrote the majority of the music and lyrics on that album and its first single from it"Look It Up" cracked the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
6. Lana Del Ray's song "Radio": "Pick me up and take me like a vitamin 'Cause my body's sweet like sugar venom oh yeah Baby love me cause I'm playing on the radio (How do you like me now?)" ...is from which of here albums?

Answer: Born to Die

"Born to Run" of course is from the legendary Bruce springsteen, "Born This Way" is a Lady Gaga album, while "Born Again" is an album title used by a lot of folks (Randy Newman, Black Sabbath, Warrant, Notorious B.I.G., Newsboys, RAIGN, Sarah Jaffe, Keith Ape).

Ms. Del Rey wrote most of the music and lyrics for her album as she walked around Manhattan in NYC. Regarding the song "Radio" she said in an interview that the keyboardist Justin Parker "just held down long keys. Sometimes what I ask my producers to do is just hold down long extended, melancholic notes and I end up just freestyling over them."
7. Which of these ex members of the band Take That recorded a solo career effort song called "Radio" in 2004 that goes: "Listen to the radio And you will hear the songs you know Make it effervescent here And you might have a job my dear."

Answer: Robbie Williams

"Radio" was the first single released from that album, which wound up becoming the best-selling album of 2004 in England. And this song "Radio" "Radio" became his sixth Number 1 single in the British Singles Chart.
8. So many bands recorded a song called "Radio". Hey, let's approach it this way. Which of these recording artists has NOT recorded a song titled "Radio" (or "The Radio")?

Answer: Human Radio, Radio Stars

The bands Human Radio, and Radio Stars are no longer making music but when they were neither had a song called "Radio." All the other recording artists mentioned above did though. I had to add that caveat (or "The Radio") because really Vince Gill's song is called "The Radio" and it's from his 1987 album "The Way Back Home." Jeff Buckley's song "Radio" is from his 1994 album "Grace." Ed Sheeran's is from his 2011 album "No. 5 Collaborations Project." Matchbox Twenty's "Radio" is from their 2012 album "North."
Soulja Boy's "Radio" goes like this: "I go so hard they can't play this on the radio
Thirty pounds of dope and keys,
I'm talkin' dope on the radio"

while Wiz Khalifa's "Radio" goes like this:

"Can't find the words to explain, you always take it wrong
Call up the station, tell them play it on the radio woah woah
Play it on your radio woah woah"
9. Okay, let's try that again. Which of these pairs of recording artists listed below, did NOT ever record a song called "Radio"?

Answer: Radiohead, Primitive Radio Gods

That's right, once again, the two radio-named bands do not have songs called "Radio" while everyone else mentioned does. I forgot about that band Primitive Radio Gods, remember them" They had a 1996 hit "Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in My Hand." Alkaline Trio's "Radio" is from "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" (2000), Naughty by Nature's is from "Nineteen Naughty Nine: Nature's Fury" (1999), Jamiroquai's is from "High Times: Singles 1992-2006-Limited" (2006), Rancid's is from "Let's Go" (1994), Teenage Fanclub's is from "Thirteen" (1993), and The Corrs' song "Radio" is from "In Blue" (2000).
10. Wrapping up this quiz series now with the Queen Bee. I just have to stop. Too many more songs I could have mentioned (see the AI to this question, LOL). Here's Beyonce's song "Radio": "I think I'm in love with my radio 'Cause it never lets me down And I fall in love with my stereo (with my stereo-oh-oh) Whenever I hear that sound (Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh!) Whenever I hear that sound." From which album does it come?

Answer: "I Am... Sasha Fierce" (2008)

I worked with Beyonce several years ago on a Revlon commercial. Very humble and sweet. She didn't even mind posing with me for a photograph. There we are cheek to cheek practically! I have photographic proof. But so very talented also, in a way, she's even more talented than she even knows: After we finished shooting the producers asked her to record some of the dialogue in French, I guess for their foreign market. She blushed and laughed half-fearfully exclaiming, "Oh my! But I don't speak any French!" and she laughed some more. But being the trooper she is, she gave it a shot, and guess what? You know where this is going but she sounded perfect. A beautiful sounding accent with perfect pronunciation--even the linguist who was there to help was astounded. That's why she's a star on the radio and elsewhere.

So many more songs with the one word title "Radio." Here are some of the other recording artists with songs called "Radio": NOFX, Abstract, Aiden, Amber Davis, Yealwolf, Phresher, Audio Push, August Band, Avalanches, Sylvan Esso, He is We, Bei Maejor, Big & Rich, Busted, Cash Cash, Client, Danny, Kristinia Debarge, Danny Saucedo, Dante Thomas, Day26, De Kreuners, Dusty Drake, The Fascination Movement, Eko Fresh, Emily King, Shaznay Lewis, Marcy Playground, , Mc Ren, The Members, Mohombi, Keith Murray, Musiq Soulchild, Eppu Normaali, Oscar, Pitty Sing, Michel Polnareff, Potshot, pureNRG, Radical Something, Easy-E, Ryan Bingham, Girlicious, Hot Water Music, Jacquees, Jarvis, Lyfe Jennings, Jinyoung, Judy and Mary, The Royal Concept, Reckless Kelly, Jurassic 5, Kurupt, Lodger, Rafael Saadiq, Saves the Day, Aziatix, Cassie, The Radio's, Rex Life Raj, Santigold, Satan Takes a Holiday, Savage, Shakin' Stevens, Shawn Fisher and the Jukebox Gypsies, SPYAIR, Stray From the Path, Tancred, Theatre of Tragedy, Tyler Rich, The Dirty Heads, Daniel Wesley, Wise Guys, Wolfmother, Y-O-U, Yukon Blonde.
