All of the re-released Motley Crue albums have original demos of some of the songs. An early version of "Dr. Feelgood" was written with different lyrics and sung in first-person point of view. Nikki says that the lyrics were written about ten minutes before Vince sang them for the first time. The lyrics were later changed to the tale of notorious Jimmy and his downfall.
