1. Who recorded 'If You Dont Want me to Destroy You'?

Answer: Super Furry Animals

From the album 'Fuzzy Logic', recorded in 1996. The Super Furry Animals became one of a number of indie bands to hail from Wales, including the Stereophonics, Catatonia, and Gorkys Zygotic Mynci.
2. Who wanted to be a 'Boatman'?

Answer: The Levellers

Taken from the amazing 'Levelling the Land' album. The Levellers were known for their strong political beliefs, which are reflected in songs on their albums. However, many music critics slated the band for having a 'hippy' image, making comments about 'dogs on string'.
3. Which of the following was NOT recorded by Gomez?

Answer: 'Watching Xanadu'

Recorded by the Mull Historical Society from the album 'Loss'. Gomez found fame after winning the 1998 Mercury music prize for their first album, 'Bring it On'. Although it cannot be proven that there is a direct link between the events, a number of Manic Street Preacher lyrics, written by Richie, and MSP CDs were found along with the bodies.

Blur have been around since the early 90's with the release of their first single 'There's no Other Way'. However, it was the album 'Parklife' which shot the band to fame. Recently band members have enjoyed success with other projects, with frontman Damon Albarn helping start the novelty band The Gorillaz.

Answer: Starsailor

The album was released in 2001 and includes the singles 'Poor Misguided Fool' and 'Alcoholic'.

Answer: True

Not many people have heard of this band, who unfortunately split up in 2002. They released the 'Trial by Fire' ep in 1999, followed by the singles 'Cannibal Kids' and 'Fabricated Lunacy'. They also played the main stage at the Reading/Leeds carling weekend in 2001.
