2. What was the Alternative rock group Moist's first single?

Answer: Push

This was the breakthrough hit for the breakthrough album "Silver". After this album Moist will not look back. They would continue to sell records. 3. What was Semisonic's follow-up single to "Closing Time"?

Answer: Singing in my Sleep

4. Which artist scored the movie soundtrack "Touch"?

Answer: Dave Grohl

A movie released in 1997 which starred actors such as Christopher Walken and Tom Arnold. Dave Grohl scored all the songs on this soundtrack and there were appearances by John Doe(X) and Louise Post(Veruca Salt). Ironically, Grohl was dating Post at the time.
5. What was the first single released from The Red Hot Chili Peppers' album "One Hot Minute"?

Answer: Warped

"My Friends" and "Aeroplane" would soon follow "Warped", but it would never duplicate the success of "BloodSugarSexMagik", which was a huge hit. To this day people consider "One Hot Minute" a blip on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' successful career. That would also be Dave Navarro's first and last album with the Chili Peppers.
6. Which artist did not appear in the movie soundtrack "A Life Less Ordinary"?

Answer: The Dandy Warhols

This movie starred Ewan McGregor ("Trainspotting") and Cameron Diaz("Charlie's Angels"). Diverse album, as it had artists from Beck to Underworld to Elvis Presley! "There's Something about Mary", released in 1998, featured the Dandy Warhols' "Everyday Should be a Holiday".
7. What "Friends" star appeared in the Counting Crows video "Long December"?

Answer: Courtney Cox

9. Damon Albarn of Blur dated the lead singer of which group?

Answer: Elastica

Justine Frishman of Elastica dated Albarn of Blur for quite awhile. They were pretty much British Music's favourite couple; it also helped when both Blur and Elastica were big in the mid 1990's. Elastica had "Connection", "Car Song", and "Stutter" off of their self-titled debut album.

There was an album release ("The Menace") in 2001, but it was so insignifigant it's not worth mentioning much about.

14. What was the first single released off of Third Eye Blind's 1999 album "Blue"?

Answer: Anything

Not a very smashing first single off of their highly anticipated second album. Their second single, "Never Let You Go", would be a hit, but the album didn't do that well in sales or commercial success like their debut. They released their third album on May 13, 2003, called "Out of the Vein".
15. Which group recorded "Novocaine for the Soul" in 1996?

Answer: The Eels

A commercial hit in 1996 got the attention of America. The follow-up album to "Beautiful Freak" would not fare well commercially. Even though E(lead singer of the Eels) hasn't had a hit since "Novocainefor the Soul", he still is releasing well-received albums.

Pat Smear's time in The Germs ended when lead singer Darby Crash committed suicide in 1980. Pat Smear toured with Nirvana. He was on Nirvana's "MTV: Unplugged in New York". Smear also had a brief stay with Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters; he left soon after the Foo's second album "The Colour and the Shape" was released.
21. Which group had the one-hit wonder "Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in My Hand"?
