The Cars originated in Boston in the late 1970s and were active through 1988. In 2010 surviving members of the band re-united for one more album.
They made seven studio albums and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
2. The Traveling Wilburys were an English-American group consisting of Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and what former member of the Beatles?

Answer: George Harrison

The Traveling Wilburys were formed in 1988 from discussions between George Harrison and Jeff Lynne. George wanted to make an album with some of his friends and this supergroup of musicians was the result.
3. In the popular 1980s' hit, what is the next line after "I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese..."?

Answer: I really think so

"Turning Japanese" is a 1980 song by the Vapors from their album "New Clear Days".
The actress Kirsten Dunst also made a cover of this in 2009.

Amazulu released the single in 1986. The original was written and sung by Bobby Bloom in 1970 and was later covered by a number of different bands.

Michael recorded the storybook in 1982 at the same time that he was recording "Thriller". It earned him a Grammy for Best Recording for Children.

R.E.M. formed in 1980 and disbanded in 2011. During those years, they made 15 albums and won three Grammy awards. R.E.M. is "Rapid Eye Movement".
8. What was Prince's birth name?

Answer: Prince Rogers Nelson

Prince (1958-2016) had a number of different stage names including Tora Tora Prince, Jamie Starr, Joey Coco and The Artist Formally Known as Prince. In 2016, he was posthumously inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame.
9. What song was covered by both Huey Lewis & the News and the Cleftones?

Answer: Heart and Soul

"Heart and Soul" was composed by Hoagy Carmichael and first released in 1938. The Cleftones recorded it in 1961. Huey Lewis and the News recorded a version of this song in 1983 with different lyrics

Answer: Night Tracks

"Night Tracks" ran for nine years and aired on weekends. The Friday night shows were usually repeated on Saturday nights. The usual genres were Rock, Pop, Adult Contemporary, R&B, Rap, Heavy Metal, Dance and Alternative.
