From the 1992 album of the same name, Elton John's "The One" peaked at number nine on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1993 in the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category. The song begins:

"I saw you dancing out the ocean
Running fast along the sand
A spirit born of earth and water
Fire flying from your hands."
2. One of These Nights

Answer: Eagles

"One of these nights, one of these crazy old nights
We're gonna find out, pretty mama, what turns on your lights
The full moon is calling, the fever is high
And the wicked wind whispers and moans
You got your demons, you got your desires
Well, I got a few of my own."

Written by Don Henley and Glenn Frey, "One of These Nights" was a single from the album of the same name. It peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song was a move away from the band's country rock roots into a more R&B, rock, and disco vibe, with Don Felder now in the band on lead guitar.
