1. Let's start off very easy. Name the bassist of Queen.

Answer: John Deacon

John was known as the quiet one in the band. He played classic basslines, listen to "Another One Bites The Dust", "Under Pressure" or "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" for an example.
2. In which country did Freddie spend most of his childhood?

Answer: India

For everyone who said Zanzibar, this was where Freddie was born and named Farook Bulsara in 1946. He spent his childhood and went to school in India before moving to England. Spellings of Freddie's real name vary greatly, examples are Farook, Faroukh, Farokh.
3. What year was Brian May born?

Answer: 1947

Brian was born on the 19th July 1947 in Middlesex.
4. What was the first single Queen released?

Answer: "Keep Yourself Alive"

Queen released "Keep Yourself Alive" on the 6th July 1973. It didn't get much airplay.
5. Which album is "Bohemian Rhapsody" on?

Answer: A Night At The Opera

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is the penultimate song on this album which is one of my favourites.
6. Who did Queen support on their first tour of the UK?

This tour was from 12 November to the 28th December 1973. Queen's first headlining tour opened in March 1974.

Answer: False

The album 'Barcelona' was made after Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe spent an entire night tinkling the ivories and singing together.

"These Are The Days Of Our Lives" was the last video to feature Freddie. The first thing you notice is that he isn't jumping around as much as usual, because it hurt him a great deal every time he moved.

Answer: 45

Freddie suffered from the terrible disease, AIDS, which finally took him aged only 45 in 1991. Brian and Roger carried on making music afterwards but John has retired.
10. What is the name of the musical that features Queen's hits?

Answer: "We Will Rock You"

I am yet to see this musical (unbelievably) but its had rave reviews and features a lovely bunch of talented singers and dancers apparently.
