Elvis Presley released "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" as a single and also had a Top Ten hit the same with "The Wonder of You", previously recorded by Ray Peterson.
Dusty first heard Pino Donaggio sing "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" in Italian in 1965 during the Sanremo Festival. English lyrics were prepared and the song became a hit for Dusty the following year. "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" was included on her 1965 "Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty" LP.
Several other artists have recorded versions of the song.
Neil Diamond released "Solitary Man" in 1970. Tom Jones' first US Top Ten was the 1965 hit, "It's Not Unusual". In 1967 Engelbert Humperdinck's "Release Me (And Let Me Love Again)" was his first big US hit.

Diane and Annita released the first version of "Groovy Kind of Love" in 1965. After The Mindbenders scored a hit with the song it was covered by a host of artists including Sonny and Cher, Gene Pitney, Petula Clark and Neil Diamond.
George Michael released "One More Try" in 1988. "Simply Irresistible" was a hit for Robert Palmer the same year along with Rick Astley's "Together Forever".

The Silkie were scheduled to appear on "The Ed Sullivan Show" but were unable to secure their visas in time.

The Buckinghams were another Chicago area sixties group that adopted a British sounding name and British sounding Sir Douglas Quintet actually hailed from Texas.

Leroy Gomez was a member of Tavares who relocated to Europe, played sax on Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" LP then decided to remain in Europe. He formed Santa Esmerelda with other songwriter/musicians. Gomez sang lead vocal on "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood".

The band also released a disco version of "The House of the Rising Sun". After releasing less successful Disco songs the group disbanded in the wake of the anti-Disco movement. High Inergy took "You Can't Turn Me Off (in the Middle of Turning Me On)" to Number 12 in 1977. "Smoke from a Distant Fire" made it to the Top Ten for The Sanford/Townsend Band.

The Number One "I'm Your Boogie Man" was one of a string of seventies hits released by KC and The Sunshine Band.

Their eponymous debut album was engineered by Alan Parsons, who produced their follow-up album. All the members of Ambrosia recorded tracks on Parsons' 1976 "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" album.
"Magical Mystery Tour" was a non-album release by Ambrosia that became popular during their live performances.
"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" was recorded by Elton John three years earlier. "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You" was one of three Beatles songs recorded by Anne Murray. The single reached Number 64 in 1980. "From Me To You" was released as a single by Del Shannon in 1963.
