Answer: Jay Buchanan

Jay Buchanan was born on the 6th of July 1975. Before joining the group he had a solo career releasing a couple of albums and performing in various concerts. Apart from being the lead singer he also plays rhythm guitar and harmonica.

Jay (Gatsby) and (Tom) Buchanan are the two characters from "The Great Gatsby".

The album was released by the band in June 2009. The songs bear influences from various groups and artists. There are eleven tracks on the album such as "Tell me Something", "Memphis Sun" and "On My Way". The album cover shows a couple of roaring lions facing each other and the predominant colours are yellow and orange.


"Fire and Rain" is a song from James Taylor, "Light my Fire" is from the Doors and "Blood and Fire" from Van Halen.

These are "Soul", "All Over the Road", "Pressure & Time" and "Company Man / Life for This Road".

"Head Down" was released in September 2012 on the Earache label and produced once again by Dave Cobb. The album was successful and the band issued five of the tracks as singles: "Until the Sun Comes", "Keep On Swinging", "Manifest Destiny Pt. 1", "You Want To" and "Wild Animal".

The red herrings were albums by the Beatles.

The album was once again produced by Dave Cobb. It was released on the Low Country Sound label which belongs to Elektra. Six of the eleven tracks were released as singles: "Do Your Worst", "Back in the Woods", "Feral Roots", "Look Away", "Too Bad" and "Shooting Stars".
