Released in 2004, "Funeral" was the debut album from the Montreal outfit and was nominated for a Grammy.

The title came about because several members had suffered bereavements before and during recording. First appearing in 2001, Arcade Fire released five albums, several EPs and singles over the next 20 years.

After 16 months spent in the studio "Ask Rufus" was released in 1977, was nominated for a Grammy and went platinum in sales. It was the fifth of nine collaborations between Chaka Khan and the Chicago funk band Rufus.

In all, Khan won ten Grammys, two of them with Rufus.

Released in 1977, "Suicide" was the eponymous debut album of the New York duo Suicide that comprised Alan Vega and Martin Rev.

Bruce Springsteen was said to be one of those influenced by the electronic rock sound of the album. The album proved to be more popular in the UK than in the US, and critical reaction was split.

Released in August 1994, "II" was actually their third album. It topped the Billboard 200 and the Billboard R&B charts and was also a number one in France.

The Ronettes were the sisters Veronica and Estelle Bennet and their cousin Nedra Talley Ross. Veronica 'Ronnie' was married to Spector for several years. In 1963, "Be My Baby" reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100. It was their highest placing.
8. Number 493: "Here My _____" by Marvin Gaye.

"Here My Dear" was a double album released in 1978 by Marvin Gaye so the royalties would go his ex-wife as part of a divorce settlement.

Gaye was prolific in the recording studio and 67 of his singles reached the Billboard charts. ""I Heard It Through the Grapevine" in 1968 was the first of three chart toppers.
9. Number 492: "_____ of Time" by Bonnie Raitt.

"Nick Of Time" was Bonnie Raitt's reaction to getting dumped by a record label. It became a platinum seller and a triple Grammy winner.

For this album, Raitt showed a new side - clean and sober - and it was to be her first to top the album charts.
10. Number 491: "_____ Line" by Harry Styles.

The former One Direction member sought out his early influences with the solo album "Fine Line" in 2019. The album went straight into the Billboard 200 at number one.

Styles had been a solo entrant for the British "X Factor" television show in 2010 but was persuaded to join four other unsuccessful soloists to form a band, One Direction. They were to have 14 UK top ten hits. Styles went solo in 2017. His eponymous first album topped the charts in six territories, including the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada.
