Through 2009, he had two other top 40 hits on the Hot 100, both in 2004: "Solitaire" (number 4) and "Invisible" (number 37). The other hits were by Paula Abdul ("Rush, Rush" 1991), Bryan Adams ("Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?" 1995), and Paul Anka ("Lonely Boy," 1959).

Answer: Venus

Between 1958 and 1962, Frankie Avalon (Francis Avallone) had 13 top forty hits on the Top/Hot 100, two of which were number one: "Venus" and "Why", both in 1959. "Try Again" was by Aaliyah in 2000, "Cold Hearted" was by Paula Abdul in 1989, and "Sugar, Sugar" was by The Archies in 1969.

In 1999 Christina Aguilera did "What A Girl Wants". Average White Band produced "Pick Up The Pieces" in 1974. And Bryan Adams sang "Heaven" in 1985.
