Fantasia (born Fantasia Barrino) won the "American Idol" television competition in 2004. From 2004-2007, she placed three songs on Billboard's Hot 100. "I Believe" topped the list in 2004. In 1962, Shelley Fabres did "Johnny Angel". Earth, Wind & Fire offered "Shining Star" in 1975. Foreigner sang "I Want To Know What Love Is" in 1989.
2. The group: The Everly Brothers. The tune?

Answer: Cathy's Clown

Brothers Don and Phil Everly had 27 hits on the Top/Hot 100 between 1957 and 1967, 15 of which made the top ten, and three of which got to number one: "Cathy's Clown" on the Hot 100 in 1960, and "Wake Up Little Susie" (1957) and "All I Have To Do Is Dream" (1958) on the Top 100. "Best Of My Love" by The Emotions in 1977, "Seasons Change" by Expose in 1987, and "In Da Club" by 50 Cent in 2003 also were number one hits.

Fleetwood Mac (the name apparently comes from two of the founding members, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie) experienced a significant number of personnel changes over time. The group had 18 Hot 100 tunes from 1975-1990, eight of which were in the top ten.

Their only number one hit was "Dreams" in 1977. The Four Tops made number one in 1965 with "I Can't Help Myself". The Eurythmics did "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" in 1983. And Fergie sang "London Bridge" in 2007.

James Atkin, Zac Foley, Ian Dench, Mark Decloedt, and Derry Brownson comprised EMF. The group reached the Billboard Hot 100 only twice, both in 1991. "Unbelievable" was number one, and "Lies" reached number 18. The other three songs also topped the chart: "The Theme From 'A Summer Place'" in 1960 by Percy Faith; "Wedding Bell Blues" in 1969 by the Fifth Dimension; and "Kiss You All Over" by Exile in 1978.

The Fleetwoods were a trio from Olympia, Washington (Gary Troxel, Barbara Ellis, and Gretchen Christopher). They had nine Hot 100 hits between 1959 and 1963. In 1959, they had their only two number one songs: "Come Softly To Me" and "Mr. Blue". Their "Tragedy" peaked at number ten in 1961. "Everybody's Somebody's Fool" (Connie Francis 1960), "I'm Telling You Now" (Freddie And The Dreamers 1965), and "Morning Train (Nine To Five)" (Sheena Easton 1981) were also number one hits.

Flo Rida (born Tramar Dillard) had five Hot 100 songs from 2007 to June,2009, four of which "featured" another artist. "Right Round" (number one in 2009) was just by Flo Rida. The other Hot 100 hits were "Little Star" (1958) by The Elegants, "Respect" (1967) by Aretha Franklin, and "Wild Wild West" (1988) by The Escape Club.

The original four Eagles were Don Henley, Randy Meisner, Glenn Frey, and Bernie Leadon. The Eagles, like many groups, had to endure several changes in its membership. Yet, from 1972 to 1995, they had 18 numbers in Billboard's Hot 100 top forty, including ten in the top ten.

The Eagles had five number one hits: "Best Of My Love" (1974); "One Of These Nights" (1975); "New Kid In Town" (1976); "Hotel California" (1977); and "Heartache Tonight" (1979). In 1963, The Fireballs did "Sugar Shack". John Fred & His Playboy Band had a one-hit wonder in 1967 with "Judy In Disguise (With Glasses)", a parody of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" by The Beatles. Extreme sang "More Than Words" in 1991.
8. The artist: Gloria Estefan. The number?

Answer: Don't Wanna Lose You

Gloria Estefan (born Gloria Falardo) and her husband Emilio Estefan founded the group that began recording as Miami Sound Machine; in 1987, it became Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine; and in 1989, it was simply Gloria Estefan. In its various forms, between 1985 and 1999 it had 19 top 40 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, eleven in the top ten.

In 1989 the top hit "Don't Wanna Lose You" was listed as by Gloria Estefan. "Easier Said Than Done" was by The Essex in 1963. Roberta Flack did "Killing Me Softly With His Song" in 1973. And Falco offered "Rock Me Amadeus" in 1986.
9. The 4 Seasons harmonized on what song?

The 4 Seasons began with Frankie Valli, Tommy DeVito, Bob Gaudio, and Nick Massi (replaced by Charlie Calello who was replaced by Joe Long). The group disbanded in the early 70s, but reformed in 1975. The 4 Seasons had 31 top 40 hits on the Hot 100 from 1962-1976, fifteen in the top ten, including five chart toppers. "Sherry" (1962) was their first appearance on the Hot 100 and their first number one song. Freddy Fender sang "Before The Next Tear Drop Falls" in 1975.

The Fine Young Cannibals did "She Drives Me Crazy" in 1989. Eminem offered "Lose Yourself" in 2002.
10. Which of these was done by Tommy Edwards?

Answer: It's All In The Game

Tommy Edwards (real name) had six numbers on the top 40 of Billboard's Hot 100 from 1958-1960. "It's All in The Game" was his only top ten tune, reaching number one in 1958. The other artists with number one hits were Yvonne Elliman with "If I Can't Have You" (1978), Gloria Estefan with "Coming Out Of The Dark" (1997), and Nelly Furtado with "Say It Right" in 2006.
