Beyonce released "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" on her 3rd album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce" (2008). It won a Grammy for Song of the Year, Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. The sassy, powerful dance video created a storm of accolades as well, and was playfully mocked at many a bachelor party.

"How to Touch a Girl" by JoJo (On "High Road" 2006) is a teen pop song written by JoJo, Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander. For JoJo "touch" means to connect with her emotionally, value her, and be considerate. All prerequisites for physical touch.

"Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)" is about a man who wants to help a troubled woman. It was released on R.E.D in 2012 by Ne-Yo. Ne-Yo combines "synthpop" (a synthesizer is dominant), "europop", (a genre out of Europe, especially the Netherlands), and Indie-pop (Independent works free from big commercial labels).

This piece first premiered online, released for digital download overseas, and then went to US radio stations: "(You)...Had no example of a love, That was even remotely real, How can you understand something that you never had, If you let me I can help you out with all of that, Girl let me love you..." The song did reasonably well worldwide, and was covered in Season Four of the hit TV show "Glee".

This fun duet with Usher (a multi-Grammy winner) made #26 on the "Rolling Stone" list "100 Best Songs of 2007".

"Treat Her Like a Lady" (1971) by American family soul singers "Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose" reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Religious quest broke up the group in 1976, but forever ours is their groovy take on just how to temper a female: "All my friends had to ask me...How I get all the women, In the palm of my hand, And I told them, Treat her like a lady, Do the best you can do, You gotta treat her like a lady, And she'll give in to you, Lord, look and see, You know what I mean....You've got to love her, Tease her, But most of all you've got to please her, You got to hold her, and want her, And make her feel You'll always need her...".

The Temptations also had a smash hit called "Treat Her Like a Lady" (1984). Their view on how to mellow a vixen?
