It was originally a song in 1988 on their album 'Surfer Rosa'.
2. Sticking with 'Heathen', there is another famous cover on there, of the Neil Young song 'I've Been Waiting For You'. Who plays guitar on this?

Pete Townshend playing guitar IS on there however, on one of the singles released from the album, 'Slow Burn'.

Covered in 2003, by Scala, a Belgian choir, writing credits on 'Life On Mars' go to Bowie's real names 'David Robert Jones', as do all of his self - penned somgs. He called himself Bowie because he didn't want people to confuse him with David Jones from The Monkees.

One at the beginning of the album 'Scary Monsters', and one at the end.
7. One track on 'Hunky Dory' is a poem that has how many lines?

This sample has been used many times, but interestingly covered only twice, one of them being by Tears for Fears. The song is one of the first examples of a 'follow up' tune as it continues the story of Major Tom from Bowie's breakthrough hit 'Space Oddity'.

One of six covers of this song. 'Tonight' also features 'Loving The Alien', 'Blue Jean' and 'I Keep Forgetting'. A majority of these were written by Bowie's main collaborator at the time, Iggy Pop.
