When cEvin Key, (pronounced "seven"), was the drummer for Images in Vogue, he took an interest in sampling and experimentation. He met Nivek Ogre and they formed Skinny Puppy as a side project. It did not quite work out that way as they released their latest album "In Solvent Sea" in 2010.

"Front Line Assembly" has a connection that is Wilhelm Schroeder who played with Puppy for a bit. "Alien Sex Fiend" has no relation whatsoever.

Wilhelm Leeb was born in Vienna, Austria and moved to Kitimat, British Columbia when he was 13. After leaving Skinny puppy in 1985 he formed Front Line Assembly, also out of Vancouver. He dropped the Wilhelm Schroeder name and goes by Bill Leeb.

Skinny Puppy have long been outspoken about animal rights, vivisection, rape, and chemical warfare to name a few.

Ohgr is his own side project and Ogre recruited Puppy member cEvin Key to take care of the drumming duties while on tour.
