The Pink Fairies got together in 1969 with Mick Farren on vocals, Steve Peregrin Took on guitar, Twink on drums, and Sally 'Silver Darling' Meltzer on keyboards. By the time they released their debut album in 1971, the membership had already changed.

Pink (Alecia Beth Moore) was born on September 8th, 1979.

The Pink Spiders formed in 2003 with Matt Friction on guitar and lead vocals, Brandon Jazz on bass, and Bob Ferrari on drums.
2. Their debut album was entitled "Can't Take Me Home". Who?

Answer: Pink

Pink's debut album, released in 2000, was entitled "Can't Take Me Home."

Pink Floyd's debut album was released in 1967 and was called "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn".

The Pink Fairies released their debut album, entitled "Never Never Land" in 1971.

The Pink Spiders released an independent EP called "The Pink Spiders are Taking Over!" in 2004, then followed that up with their first studio album called "Hot Pink" in 2005.
3. Their first compilation album was called "Flashback" Who?

Answer: Pink Fairies

After The Pink Fairies had released three studio albums in 1971, 1972 and 1973, they released their first compilation album called "Flashback" in 1975.

Pink Floyd put out their first compilation album, "The Best of Pink Floyd" in 1970, after having released four albums in 1967, 1968, and (two in) 1969.

Pink released a compilation album in 2005 entitled "Missundaztood/Can't Take Me Home", which also happen to be the titles of her first two albums (released in 2001 and 2000, respectively). One other studio album came out in 2003, prior to the release of her first compilation album.

At the time of this quiz (2016), the Pink Spiders have not released a compilation album.
4. Two of these Pinks are American. Which ones?

6. Their album "The Division Bell" reached number one in every country in which it was released. Who?

Answer: Pink Floyd

"The Division Bell" was Pink Floyd's 14th studio album, release in 1994 - seven years after their previous release! Perhaps it was the anticipation of a long-awaited album that launched it to number one on so many charts. It even did better in that respect than their iconic "The Dark Side of the Moon" (1973) and "The Wall" (1979) albums.

The list of countries that "The Division Bell" topped the charts in: The UK, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United States.
7. Which two of these Pinks won their first Grammies in, respectively, 1980 and 2002?

Answer: Pink Floyd and Pink

Pink Floyd won a Grammy in 1980 for Best Engineered Non-Classical Album for "The Wall".

Pink (as of 2016) has won three Grammies out of 14 nominations. Her first win was in 2002 for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals (along with Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim and Mưa) for the song "Lady Marmalade". She received her second Grammy in 2004 for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the song "Trouble". And her third Grammy was awarded in 2011, again for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals (this time with Herbie Hancock, India.Arie, Seal, Konono Nº1, Jeff Beck and Oumou Sangaré).
