Val Stecklein, the leader and principle songwriter for the Blue Things also went on to moderate success in the contemporary country music field later in the 70's.

Carmine Appice, who was drummer for the V.F. debut went on to bigger fame in the early 1970's in Beck, Bogert and Appice.

Leigh Stephenson was axeman for the first two Blue Cheer LPs. Holden joined the band after Leigh split to form his band the Silver Metre.
