1. Who can forget Gerry and The Pacemakers. Part of the "British Invasion" in 1964, they scored with Top 10 hits such as "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying", "How Do You Do It", and "Ferry Cross The Mersey", but how about the Top 40 hit in 1965 which followed "Mersey" that year. Which one was it?

Answer: It's Gonna Be Alright

Another group from Liverpool, with Brian Epstein as their manager, they came to us in 1964, with lead singer Gerry Marsden fronting the group. This song actually broke their string of five straight Top 20 hits in 1964-65. It peaked at number 23 on Billboard, following 1964"s "Dont Let The Sun Catch You Crying" (number four,), "How Do You Do It" (number nine), I Like It (number 17), and 1965's "I'll Be There (number 14) and "Ferry Cross The Mersey" (number six).
2. The Young Rascals (later the Rascals) cut hit after hit in the mid and late 60's. Songs like "Good Lovin'", "Groovin'", and "People Got to Be Free" immediately come to mind. But how about the first Billboard entry that started them on their road to success? Can you name it?

Answer: I Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore

The Rascals first charted in late 1965 with this hit. They had to alter their name slightly, since the record label which signed them had a group with a similar name, and complained about the similarity, hence Rascals to Young Rascals. This song only reached number 52 on Billboard, but was more successful in Canada. Of course, their next entry, "Good Lovin", became a number one hit, and the group was on their way. Top 20 hits such as "You Better Run" (Covered by Pat Benetar in the 80's), and "Lonely Too Long" (peaking at #16)followed. Groovin' became their 2nd number one hit in 1967, and that was followed by "How Can I Be Sure", "A Beautiful Morning", and their final number one hit, "People Got To Be Free".
