"Bad Moon Rising" and "Down on the Corner" were both recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) in 1969, but for two different albums. "Bad Moon Rising" was recorded first for the "Green River" album and "Down on the Corner" for the album "Willy and the Poor Boys". "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" was from their 1971 album "Pendulum". Of the three songs, "Bad Moon Rising" was the most successful, achieving top position on four separate world charts including a top spot on the US Record World chart.
2. Only The Pretty Bayou

"Only the (Lonely Know the Way I Feel)", "(Oh) Pretty (Woman)", "(Blue) Bayou".

"Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel)" was recorded by Roy Orbison in 1960 for the album "Lonely and Blue". It reached second place on the US Billboard Pop chart and first place on the UK chart. "Oh, Pretty Woman" was recorded in 1964 and released as a single. It was another of Orbison's songs to reach top position on the UK and US Billboard charts. This song achieved a number of accolades through the years, including a posthumous Grammy Award in 1991 for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance as well as being selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress. "Blue Bayou" was recorded in 1961 and released on the 1963 "In Dreams" album. This song was not as successful on the UK and US charts, but did achieve a top spot on the Australian and Irish charts. Linda Ronstadt recorded a cover version in 1977 and took that to number two on the US Billboard Country Singles and US Cash Box Top 100 charts.
3. Every Little Thing She Does, You Take In A Bottle

"Every Little Thing She Does (Is Magic)", "(Every Breath) You Take", "(Message) in a Bottle".

Of the three songs, "Message in a Bottle" was recorded first in 1979 for the album "Reggatta de Blanc". This was to be the band's first number one hit on the UK chart. The song has been ranked at position sixty-five on "Rolling Stone" magazine's "100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time" list. "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" was released on the band's 1981 "Ghost in the Machine" album and proved to be another number one UK hit for the band. "Every Breath You Take" was from the band's 1983 "Synchronicity" album. Of the three songs, it is by far the most successful. It not only reached number one on the UK chart, but also the US Cash Box Top 100, US Billboard Mainstream Rock and the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. It was also nominated for three Grammy Awards in 1984, winning two of them in the "Song of the Year" and "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" categories.
4. Killer Bottomed Girls Are The Champions

"Killer (Queen)", "(Fat) Bottomed Girls", "(We) Are the Champions".

"Killer Queen" was recorded for 1974 album "Sheer Heart Attack", the band's third album. It reached second place on the UK chart, was certified silver and garnered Freddie Mercury his first Ivor Novello award which is awarded for songwriting and composition. "We Are the Champions" is from the 1977 album "News of the World", which reached number two on the UK chart as well. It was the theme song to the 1994 FIFA World Cup. "Fat Bottomed Girls" was recorded for the 1978 album "Jazz". Its best showing was on the Dutch and Norwegian charts where it reached seventh position.

Talking Heads recorded "This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)" in 1983 for their fifth album "Speaking in Tongues". The song has been featured in a number of films through the years, "Burning Down the House"(2011), "Lars and the Real Girl"(2007), "Wall Street"(1987), "Crazy, Stupid, Love"(2011) and "He's Just Not That Into You"(2009). "Psycho Killer" is from the band's 1977 album "Talking Heads: 77". The song was popular in Belgium and the Netherlands, reaching eleventh place on both charts. The song was included on the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll" list. "Burning Down the House" is from the 1983 album "Speaking in Tongues". It reached sixth place on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Tom Jones and The Cardigans did a cover version in 1999 for the Jones album "Reload". This song has been covered by the likes of Bonnie Raitt, the Vienna Boys' Choir as well as Lady Gaga.
6. Dirty Man In The Wall

"Dirty Diana" and "Man in the Mirror" were recorded for the 1987 album "Bad". Both of them topped the US Billboard charts. Five singles in total off the album made it to number one and the album itself topped 14 charts worldwide. "Off the Wall" was the title track from the 1979 album of the same name. Considering the amount of number one singles in Jackson's career, it is surprising that this song only managed a fifth place on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
7. Wish You Were Comfortably In The Wall

"Wish You Were (Here)", "Comfortably (Numb)", "(Another Brick) in the Wall".

"Comfortably Numb" and "Another Brick in the Wall" are both from the 1979 album "The Wall". Comfortably Numb" features at position 314 on "Rolling Stone" magazine's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. The song was covered by the Scissor Sisters in 2004 for which they received a Grammy nomination. "Another Brick in the Wall" is a wildly popular song which reached number one position on seventeen different worldwide charts. It was also banned in South Africa after being adopted for a nationwide school boycott. "Wish You Were Here" was recorded for the 1975 album of the same name. It was also another Pink Floyd song that achieved a place on "Rolling Stone" magazine's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list as well as a thirteen position on the US Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

"Fear of the (Dark)", "(The) Number of (the Beast)", "(Run to) the Hills".

"Run to the Hills" and "The Number of the Beast" are both from the 1982 album "The Number of the Beast". "Run to the Hills" fared better on the UK charts achieving a seventh place, where as "The Number of the Beast" only managed an eighteenth position. "Fear of the Dark" is the title track from the 1992 album of the same name. It was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1994, but lost out to Ozzy Osbourne. It managed a respectable eighth position on the UK chart.
9. Fallin' Back Down A Dream

"(Free) Fallin'", "(I Won't) Back Down", "(Runnin' Down) a Dream".

All three songs are from the 1989 album "Full Moon Fever". "Free Fallin'" reached position seven on the US Billboard chart and is listed at position 177 on "Rolling Stone" magazine's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time". "I Won't Back Down" and "Runnin' Down a Dream" both reached position one on the US Billboard Album Rock Tracks. "I Wont Back Down" has been covered by Johnny Cash, Pearl Jam, Kris Kristofferson and Bon Jovi.
10. I Don't Want To Miss A Dude In An Elevator

"I Don't Want to Miss a (Thing)", "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)", "(Love) In An Elevator".

"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" was written for the soundtrack of the 1998 film "Armageddon", starring Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler, daughter of Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler. It went to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and it was nominated for both an Academy Award for "Best Original Song" and a Golden Raspberry Award for "Worst Original Song". "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" is from the 1987 album "Permanent Vacation". It was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards in 1988 for "Best Group Video" and "Best Stage Performance", but failed to win in either category. It managed a fourth place on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. "Love in an Elevator" was recorded for the 1989 album "Pump". It reached top position on the US Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1990 for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, but failed to win.
