Metallica was formed in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist/lead singer James Hetfield. The original line-up consisted of Ulrich, Hetfield, Dave Mustaine who was fired from the band and started the band Megadeath and bass guitarist Ron McGovney. Mustaine was replaced by former Exodus guitarist Kirk Hammett and McGovney was replaced by ex Trauma bassist Cliff Burton. Upon Burton's death in Sweden in 1986 while the band was on tour, he was replaced in the band by formed Flotsam and Jetsam bassist, Jason Newsted. Newsted left the band in 2003 and was replaced by bassist Robert Trujillo, formerly of Suicidal Tendencies and Black Label Society.

Between 1983 and 2016, Metallica released ten albums and have won nine Grammy awards from 1990 to 2009. The merged title is made up of "Harvester of Sorrow" recorded on their 1988 album "...And Justice For All" as well as "Master of Puppets" released on their 1986 album of the same name.

"Paint For The Devil" is made up of "Paint It Black", a number one hit released from the 1966 album "Aftermath" as well as "Sympathy For The Devil" which comes from the 1973 album "Beggars Banquet".

The Rolling Stones formed in 1962, with the original line-up consisting of Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Brian Jones and Ian Stewart. From the original line-up, only Jagger, Richards and Watts are left, with Ronnie Wood having joined the band as a bassist in 1975. Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 by guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, drummer Bill Ward and singer Ozzy Osbourne. Former Rainbow vocalist Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy in 1979 after Osbourne was dismissed from the band for drug and alcohol abuse. Black Sabbath recorded eight albums with Osbourne, from 1970 to 1978. Ten more albums were recorded by the band with various vocalists, including Dio and the band joined up with Osbourne again to record the 2013 album "13".

The merged title is made up of "Fairies Wear Boots" and "War Pigs" which are from Sabbath's 1970 "Paranoid" album.

The merged title "Just Can't Get The Silence" is made up of the songs "Just Can't Get Enough" from the 1981 album "Speak & Spell" and "Enjoy the Silence" from "Violator" (1990). At the 1991 Brit Awards, "Enjoy The Silence" won Best British single.

Depeche Mode is an English band formed in 1980 by Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke. Clarke left the band in 1981 and formed the band Yazoo with Alison Moyet , after which he formed the band Erasure in 1985. Up to the release of their fourteenth album "Spirit" in 2017, the band had thirteen top ten albums on the UK charts.

U2 was formed in 1976 as Feedback and then The Hype, by the original line-up of Bono (Paul Hewson), The Edge (David Evans), Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. They released their first album "Boy" in 1980 as U2. The band won twenty-two Grammy awards from their inception up to 2016 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. U2 was ranked by Rolling Stone magazine at position twenty-two on the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" list.

The merged title is made up of "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" from the 1987 album "The Joshua Tree".

"Folsom Prison Comes Around" is made up of the two titles, "Folsom Prison Blues" recorded on Johnny Cash's 1955 debut album "With His Hot and Blue Guitar" and "The Man Comes Around" from the 2002 album "American IV: The Man Comes Around".

Johnny Cash (b.1932 - d.2003) had an illustrious career spanning seven decades which included fifty-five studio albums and well over a hundred compilation and live albums. Not only a musician, Cash acted in a number of films and television roles. Cash has won eighteen Grammy awards through the years and was inducted into no less than seven halls of fame, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.

Madonna released her first album "Madonna" in 1983. Since that first album, up to 2015, she has released thirteen albums. She has acted in twenty-one films in between the years of 1979 and 2006, earning herself a Golden Globe award for Best Actress - Musical or Comedy for her role in the 1996 film "Evita". From 1987 to 2010, Madonna was nominated for the Golden Raspberry award (recognition for worst in film) a record sixteen times and won the award nine times.

The merged titles contain the songs "Papa Don't Preach" from the 1986 album "True Blue" and "This Used To Be My Playground", a single recorded for the soundtrack to the 1992 film "A League Of Their Own", featuring Tom Hanks and Geena Davis, where in Madonna played a supporting role.

"Misty Mountain Dog" is made up of the Led Zeppelin songs "Misty Mountain Hop" and "Black Dog" from their album "Led Zeppelin IV" (1971).

Led Zeppelin are one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time, ranked at number one on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. Donovan is a Scottish singer who released his first album "What's Bin Did and What's Bin Hid" in 1965. His third album "Sunshine Superman", released in 1966 gave Donovan his first US Billboard number one hit, for the single of the same name. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.

The merged titles are made up of "Season of the Witch" and "Sunshine Superman", both from the album "Sunshine Superman"(1966).

Creedence Clearwater Revival(CCR) was formed in 1967 by the brothers Tom and John Fogerty, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford. They were active from 1967 to 1972 and managed to release seven albums in that time. Tom Fogerty left the band in 1971 and the band officially broke up a year later. CCR was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. CCR was ranked 82nd on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

The merged title, is made up of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" released in 1971 on the album "Pendulum" and the number one hit "Bad Moon Rising" released in 1969 from the album "Green River".
