Keith Potger formed The New Seekers in 1969. He had been a member of the Australian group The Seekers with Judith Durham, Athol Guy and Bruce Woodley, who had disbanded in 1968. Keith Potger recorded and performed with the group that had a changing line-up which included Peter Doyle, Eve Graham, Marty Kristian, Paul Layton, Lyn Paul.

Glam rock group Mud were Rob Davis (lead guitar), Les Gray (vocals), Dave Mount (drums) and Ray Stiles (bass guitar). They released a long forgotten single, "Flower Power" in 1967 but it did not grow on anyone. They had their first UK hit with "Crazy" which peaked at number 12 on the UK singles chart in 1973. In between the two Mud number one hits, the songwriting/producing duo Mike Chapman and Nicky Chin managed to give Suzi Quatro her second number one hit "Devil Gate Drive". On Mickie Most's RAK record label of course.

It entered the UK chart on three separate occasions from 1973 to 1974 but only reached number 38.

In 2004 Aznavour, whose parents were Armenian, received Armenia's highest award of "National Hero of Armenia" for his humanitarian work. In 2008 he was granted citizenship of the Republic of Armenia. In 2013 at the age of 89 he performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England. It was the first time he had performed in London for 25 years. Such was the demand for tickets, a second concert at the Royal Albert Hall was scheduled for 2014.
