Henry Fitzroy was born during his marriage to Catherine of Aragon and died during his father's marriage to Jane Seymour. There are rumors that Anne had him poisoned though Anne had been placed in the Tower of London well before Fitzroy fell ill.

Jane Seymour was born in 1508 or 1509 and in her last year, as queen Jane was lady-in-waiting to Catherine of Aragon. When Anne Boleyn became queen Jane waited on Anne and soon replaced her as queen. She died twelve days after giving birth to the future Edward VI 1537.

Catherine of Aragon was the daughter of Isabella and Ferdinand of Spain 1485. After seven pregnancies only the future Mary I survived to adulthood. She died in 1536 after a prolonged illness.

Anne Boleyn was born in 1501 or 1509 and had two siblings: Mary (Henry's ex-mistress) and George. She would resist all attempts to lie with the king in his bed until being queen was assured. After giving birth to the future Elizabeth I and at least two stillborn sons her fate was sealed. She would later be accused of adultery, incest and high treason.
