1. Jane Seymour was born in either 1508 or 1509 to Sir John Seymour of Wiltshire and Margery Wentworth. Jane had two brothers who became very important to her son when he came to the throne. What were their names?

Answer: Thomas and Edward

After Henry VIII died, Thomas married Katherine Parr, and there were rumours that he had tried to engage in a relationship with Henry's daughter Princess Elizabeth.
Edward, on the other hand, played on a key role in Edward VI's early reign. In the role of protector he was effectively running the country. Eventually, both Jane's brothers were executed when they fell from favour.
2. Jane was a well educated women who was accomplished in many areas and was fluent in several languages.

Answer: False

Most women living in the time of the Tudors were often not very educated.
There were exceptions to this rule, though. Some female royals were given a basic level of education. Jane's lack of education is contrasted with her step daughters who were educated to level much higher than was normal at the time for women.
