Due to the fact that JonBenet's body was found in her own home, suspicion fell on her parents and nine-year-old brother, Burke. However, police were unable to find any physical evidence to link John, Patsy or Burke to JonBenet's murder, which remains unsolved.

On June 1st, 1960, Sydney residents, Bazil and Freda Thorne, won 100,000 pounds in the 10th Sydney Opera House lottery. One month later, their eight-year-old son, Graeme, vanished while on his way to school. For almost two months, his friends and family prayed and hoped that Graeme would be found safe and well. Then, on August 16th, a group of children playing in a vacant housing lot in the Sydney suburb of Seaforth, discovered Graeme's body wrapped in a picnic blanket. He'd been beaten and strangled.

On October 18th, Stephen Leslie Bradley confessed to Graeme's murder and was sentenced to life in prison the following year.

Two days later, James's body was found sliced in half on railway tracks. On February 20th, Jon and Robert were arrested and charged with James's murder, making them the 20th century's youngest convicted murderers.

When sent to investigate, her 14-year-old brother found her naked body on the floor of the disabled toilet. The following year 28-year-old Dante Arthurs was arrested and charged with Sofia's murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.

A week later Sian's body was found in the Tinbeerwah State Forest. She'd been raped and stabbed. However, Sian's family would have to wait for almost a year before a married couple, Valmae Beck and Barrie Watts, were found guilty of Sian's murder and sentenced to life in prison.
