Arnold was a leading general for the American Continental Army in the American Revolution. But, unhappy with being passed over for promotion, he defected to the British side. He eventually moved to England and died there in 1801.

Napoleon was a soldier who became a general and finally the first emperor of France in 1804. An excellent military leader, his plans fell into place until he invaded Russia in 1812. It was an utter failure which led to his downfall. After being exiled to the island of Elba and then returning, he died in 1821 from what might have been stomach cancer.
