John Norman Collins killed between 1967 and 1969 and was convicted of six murders in the Ypsilanti area.

He's sometimes referred to as the "Eyeball Killer", or the "Texas Ripper". The exact number of victims is unknown (and most experts still argue) but it is somewhere between one and four. It is difficult to determine, because he was only convicted of one, however his modus operandi occurred in several murders in the area.

This is false. Daniel Rolling was the Gainesville Ripper, while the Blackout Ripper was Gordon Cummings. Cummings killed during black-out periods in WWII England. His execution was performed during an air-raid, ironically.

Hardy was diagnoses with having bipolar disorder long before he killed women. His first violent offense was in 1998 when he was charged with the rape of a local prostitute.
