Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Catherine Swynford was the great-great-grandmother of which English monarch?

Answer: Henry VII

Henry was from the House of Tudor and ruled from 1485-1509. Growing up in France, Henry Tudor would not have been on anybody's list as a threat to the king. He defeated the Yorkist Richard III at Bosworth Field ending the Wars of the Roses.

Answer: Anne and Mary II

Mary II ruled with husband William III 1689-94. Her sister, Anne, was the first monarch of Great Britain 1707-14. Beatrice and Eugenie are Queen Elizabeth II's grandchildren, Davina and Rose are her cousins. Catherine Grey never ruled as Queen.
