He was also well known for his landscapes and for his work entitled "The Night Watch" which he painted in 1642.

Answer: Paul Revere

Revere, a silversmith by trade, was a member of the "Sons of Liberty", is famous, among other things, for his engraving of "The Boston Massacre" and for his "Midnight Ride".

At the time of his "Midnight Ride" the colonists in America still regarded themselves as British. Moreover, his ride had to be conducted as quietly as possible.

Parks was arrested on December 1, 1955, and fined for violating a city ordinance, but her courageous act started a movement that ended legal segregation in America.

Anne Rice is famous for her "Vampire Chronicles" including such novels as "The Vampire Lestat", "Queen of the Damned" and "Memnoch the Devil". She has also written many novels about witches, ghosts, demons, and other interesting characters, who usually live somewhere in Louisiana.
6. This Scottish Gaelic hero and outlaw of the Highlands was known for cattle rustling and was often hired to protect the cattle of the Scottish nobles. What name is he known by?

Answer: Rob Roy

His actual name was Robert Roy MacGregor (1670-1734). In addition to cattle rustling he also went to battle with his father to support King James against William of Orange. Liam Neeson played him in the 1995 movie.

Red Cloud was chief and leader of the Oglala Sioux. In addition to Fetterman's Massacre, he also led the Sioux in war against the establishment of the Bozeman Trail.
