Stephen Neal (b.1976) played his entire career in the NFL with the New England Patriots (2001-2010). Along the way he was a Super Bowl Champion (XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX). In 1999 he was a World Champion in freestyle wrestling in Ankara, Turkey.

He played in the first VFL Premiership for St. Kilda in 1966. He got the nickname "Cowboy" because of his bow-legs and his rolling gait. He came from a country town called Warrnambool, which is 265 km(165 mi) SW of Melbourne.

The three were nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor (Paul Newman), Best Supporting Actor (Melvyn Douglas) and Best Actress (Patricia Neal). Both Neal and Douglas were successful in taking home the Oscars. Patricia Neal was married to the British novelist Roald Dahl from 1953-1983. They had five children.

Neil Simon (1927-2018) was an American playwright, screenwriter and author. He wrote over 30 plays of which he also wrote the screenplay when it was adapted to film. In 2008 his Globetrotters number 22 was retired and he joined other players in the Globetrotters history, like Wilt Chamberlain, to have their numbers retired.
