Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who wore clothes made of camel's fur and ate locusts and wild honey?

Answer: John the Baptist

Matthew 3:4. It says that his meat was locusts and wild honey even though it wasn't real meat. God sees meat as a meal.
2. The angel Gabriel foretold the birth of what two men?

Answer: John the Baptist and Jesus Christ

Luke 1:5-38. Funny things, Mary was a virgin and had a baby without "knowing" a man, and Zacharias was literally dumbstruck until John was born.
3. How tall was Goliath?

Answer: Over 9 feet tall

1 Samuel 17:4. It says his height was six cubits and a span. A cubit equals 1.5 feet. A span is half a foot. Do the math.
4. How old was Josiah when he became king of Judah?

Answer: 8

2 Kings 22:1. He became king after his dad died. Josiah was one of the most righteous kings in God's eyes.
5. How many days did Joshua and the other Israelites march around Jericho until the walls fell down?

Answer: 7

Joshua 6: 15-20. When Joshua and his people then raided the city, he told the Israelites not to take any riches for themselves because they were going to God. Unfortunately, someone didn't listen and it cost him his life.
6. On what day of creation did God make man and woman?

Answer: Day six

It is great to learn how the Earth was formed. I suggest reading Genesis 1 and 2. On day six, God made Adam the first man from the dust of the ground. Also, God made Adam go into a deep sleep; while he slept, God took a rib from inside Adam and made Eve, the first woman, out of it. On day seven he rested from all his work which he had done. This is why God gave us the Sabbath Day.
7. How many days did it take Nehemiah and the other Israelites to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem?

Answer: 52 days

Nehemiah 6:15. Fifty-two days of hard work. The reason why the king gave him permission to do so because he was sad that the walls remained waste.
8. Jesus performed many miracles. One time, he fed 5,000 men with how many loaves of bread and how many fish?

Answer: five loaves and two fish

Matthew 14:18-21. If you think anything is impossible, let Jesus prove you wrong by doing these miracles. This miracle is mentioned throughout the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
9. How many days had Lazarus been dead when Jesus arrived in Bethany?

Answer: 4

John 11:17. Lazarus died from illness sometime after Mary and Martha (Lazarus's sisters) sent for Jesus while he was living. Jesus miraculously rose him from the dead when he finally arrived. Praise Jesus.
10. How many days and nights was Jonah inside the belly of a great fish?

Answer: 3

Jonah 1:17. He was trying to run from Nineveh, so he boarded a ship to Tarshish in the other direction. Then God sent a heavy storm on that ship and it didn't stop until Jonah was thrown overboard and swallowed by the great fish. Some people think it was a whale.
