Answer: Belfast

Best was survived by five siblings, being sisters Carol, Grace, Julie and Barbara, along with brother, Ian. George also had one son, Callum, with Angie Best, whom he was married to between 1978-84.
2. In 1963, at the age of just 17 years old, George Best made his Manchester United debut. Against which team was this against?

Answer: West Bromwich Albion

Best played his part in a 1-0 home win over West Brom on 14th September, 1963. Just two weeks later, Best scored his first goal for the club in a 5-1 hammering of Burnley. He would play a total of 26 games for Manchester United during the 1963-64 season.

Answer: 37

Sadly, the world never knew the true potential of George Best, as Northern Ireland didn't qualify for the World Cup during his time as a player. Best scored 10 times for his country.

United took the title on goal average, beating Leeds United into second place. Both teams had amassed 61 points, but Manchester United scored six more goals than Leeds. Best would go on to achieve just one more title success with United, two years later.

Manchester United trounced Northampton 8-2 on 8th February, 1970. Best's six goals in that game saw him set Manchester United's record for the most goals in one game by a single player.
