Answer: Steve Garvey

Garvey achieved this amazing feat in 1984 with the San Diego Padres. Along with his great fielding percentage, he hit .284 with 8 homers, and drove in 86 runs to lead the Padres to the World Series, and then lose there to the Detroit Tigers.
