Answer: Ken Norton

Shortly after his fight with Jimmy Young on November 5, 1977, Norton was awarded the WBC title. This was due to Leon Spinks choosing to defend against Muhammad Ali instead of Norton. Norton at the time was their #1 contender.
2. I am a former world champion. I was accused of being involved in the Black Sox scandal of 1919. Who am I?

Answer: Abe Attell

Abe was accused in 1920 of being a messenger between organized crime and players of the Chicago White Sox baseball team. It was alleged that he did this during the planning stages of the alleged fix of the 1919 World Series. He was acquitted of all charges.

Answer: Willie Pep

In January 1947, a plane that Willie was in overshot Newark Airport and landed in the woods killing 5 people onboard. Pep sustained 2 broken vertabrae as well as a broken leg. He was in a cast until June of that year. Incredibly, on June 17, 1947, he boxed and won a 10 round non-title bout.

Leslie Stewart was the second champion from Trinidad. Terrance Ali was from Guyana, and Julian Jackson was from the Virgin Islands.

Al won the World Middleweight Championship in 1914 by KO in the 1st round over George Chip.
8. The Island of Puerto Rico had many great world champions. I'm special because I'm the first in its history. Who am I?

Answer: Sixto "El Gallito" Escobar

Sixto retired with a record of 42 wins, 21 losses, and 21 KO's. He died at the age of 66 from diabetes. It took Puerto Rico almost 30 years to have another world champion.
