Answer: Brighton United

The club was formed in 1897, and a year later played in the Southern League. The club then went bust and reformed as Brighton & Hove Rangers, but they disappeared before playing a game, and were replaced with Brighton & Hove United, who were forced to change the name to Brighton & Hove Albion shortly after.
2. Who was the club's first manager in their history?

Answer: John Jackson

Jackson managed the club between 1901-1905.
3. In 1957-1958, Brighton won their first ever Football League division title. Which of these was that?

Answer: League Division Three (South)

This was the only time in the 20th century that Brighton won the Division Three (South) title, and they won it with 60 points over second placed Brentford, who had 58.
4. From which club did Brighton sign Bobby Zamora in 2000?

Answer: Bristol City

Zamora never played a full game for Bristol, and was snapped up by Brighton after a brief loan spell at Bath City.
