2. Which of the following managers hit a homer as a pinch-hitter in his first at-bat in the majors?

Answer: Chuck Tanner

Tanner did it for the Milwaukee Braves in 1955. Tanner played for 8 seasons, retiring as an Angel in 1962. In 1970, he began he managing career with the Chicago White Sox.

Answer: Ted Williams

Williams batted .406 in 1941. He played for the Boston Red Sox (1939-1960).
