1. Maine Road

Answer: Manchester City

Maine Road was home to Manchester City until 2003. They then moved to the City of Manchester Stadium which was initially built to host events for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
2. The Goldstone Ground

Answer: Brighton and Hove Albion

The Goldstone Ground was the home of Brighton and Hove Albion between 1902 and 1997. Since then, the club shared Priestfield Stadium, the home of Gillingham, and rented the Withdean Stadium, until moving to Falmer Stadium in 2011.
3. Filbert Street

Answer: Leicester City

Filbert Street was the home of Leicester City until 2002. The ground was demolished in 2003. Due to terraced housing restricting further expansion to the old ground, Leicester City were forced to move to a new stadium, the King Power Stadium (previously known as the Walkers Stadium).
4. Highfield Road

Answer: Coventry City

Highfield Road was the home of Coventry City for over 100 years. However, due to practical reasons, the club re-located to the Ricoh Arena which became their home for the 2005-06 season.
5. Ayresome Park

Answer: Middlesbrough

Ayresome Park was the home of Middlesbrough F.C. from its construction in time for the 1903-04 season. The Riverside Stadium, their new home, was opened in 1995.
6. The Victoria Ground

Answer: Stoke City

The club played at the Victoria Ground for 119 years until moving to the Britannia Stadium. The last ever league game was played against W.B.A. on May 4th 1997. The old ground was subsequently demolished.
7. Boothferry Park

Answer: Hull City

Boothferry Park was opened in 1946 and closed in 2002. It achieved its record attendance of 55,019 for an F.A. Cup tie played against Manchester United in 1949. Hull City moved to the KCOM Stadium.
8. Burnden Park

Bolton Wanderers called Burnden Park their home for over 100 years. In 1997 the club moved eight miles to the newly-built Reebok Stadium.
9. Highbury

Answer: Arsenal

Highbury was to be Arsenal's home ground until 2006. The ground was also used by England for a number of friendlies. The ground was redeveloped into flats with the original art deco features being kept. Arsenal moved to the Emirates Stadium.
10. Elm Park

Answer: Reading

Reading moved from Elm Park to the Madejski Stadium in 1998. The new stadium was named after Reading's chairman Sir John Madejski who invested a large sum in the development. Elm Park became a housing estate.
