In 17 seasons, 230 games and 707 goals, his highest seasonal total was 66 in 1915. His eight awards were received in the following years: 1907, 1908, 1909:, 1910 (joint with Percy Martini, Geelong), 1914, 1916, 1917 and 1919.

Kevin Pay only played the one season, in 1961, and with 31 goals won the club goal kicking award. Jack Pimm played 58 games and won the award in 1949 with 34 goals. David Norman won the award in 1965 with 32 goals and he played a total of 91 games. Keith Bromage was at the time the youngest player to play VFL football - he was 15 yrs and 287 days.

He played a total of 28 games and won the award in 1954 with 22 goals.

Port Adelaide had been known as the Magpies since 1902, however, when they entered the AFL in 1997, they were asked to change their nickname, thus becoming "The Power". Brunswick in the VFA, also wore the same guernsey as Collingwood and were known as The Magpies, but they never played in the VFL or AFL (they left the VFA in 1990).

From 2011 onwards, and only against North Melbourne Kangaroos, the guernsey is black with two vertical white stripes instead of the traditional three white stripes (the Kangaroos guernsey is white with three blue vertical stripes).

Albert Collier was 15 years and 297 days when he made his debut in 1925. However, Bromage played 28 games for the club whereas Collier played 205 games and also won the Brownlow Medal in 1929. Murray Weideman was 17 years and 173 days when he made his debut in 1953.
Ricky Watt did not make his debut until 1963, when he was 16 years and 219 days, and Tony Shaw did not make his debut until 1978 when he was 18 years and 20 days.

Ray Shaw (1979-1980) and Tony Shaw (1987-1993) and Wayne Richardson (1971-1975) and Max Richardson (1977).
