1. America's Cup

The America's Cup is also called the "Auld Mug", and it is awarded to the winner of match races between two sailing yachts. The race pits a defender, i.e., the one who last won the trophy, against the challenger. Founded in 1851, the America's Cup is the "oldest international sporting trophy". It was given out by the Royal Yacht Squadron, and the first winner was the schooner America.
2. Davis Cup

The Davis Cup is known as the "World Cup of Tennis" (for men). Beginning in 1900, it started as a contest between the United States and Great Britain, and now includes over one hundred countries. First called the International Lawn Tennis Trophy, it was renamed after American Dwight Filley Davis who came up with the idea for the competition. The Fed Cup is the female equivalent.
3. Heisman Trophy

The Heisman Memorial Trophy was named after John W. Heisman, a football coach and athletic director of the NY Downtown Athletic Club. It is awarded annually to the best player in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The first trophy was given out in 1935, and awarded to halfback Jay Berwanger from the University of Chicago.
It is presented before the postseason bowl games.

The Swaythling Cup, donated in 1926, is given to the winners of the Men's Team event at the table tennis World Championship. Hungary was the winner of the first five World Championships. Not surprisingly, China held the Cup record with fifteen wins, beginning in 1961 (like the scene in "Forrest Gump"). Other multiple winners include Japan and Sweden, while the USA won in 1937.
5. Conn Smythe Trophy

The Stanley Cup is the trophy annually awarded in the National Hockey League to the winner of the hockey playoffs. After the final game, the Conn Smythe Trophy is given to the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the postseason playoffs. The trophy is named after Conn Smythe who was an owner, general manager and head coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It has been awarded since the 1964-1965 season.
6. Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy

The Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy is awarded annually to the winner of the National Basketball Association (NBA) finals. The trophy was first awarded in 1977, when it was called the Walter A. Brown Trophy. The name was changed in 1984 to honor Larry O'Brien who had served as commissioner of the NBA from 1975 to 1984. Prior to his tenure with the NBA, O'Brien had served as US Postmaster General from 1965 to 1968.
7. Bledisloe Cup

The Bledisloe Cup is named for the Governor-General of New Zealand, Lord Bledisloe, who served in that capacity from 1930 to 1935. The Cup is given for rugby union competition between the teams of Australia and New Zealand. The trophy was first given out in 1931.
At first the competitions were held at irregular intervals. In 1996 it became an annual competition in the Tri Nations tournament.

The Walker Cup is a golf trophy played for in odd-numbered years. It is played by major amateur golfers from the United States, Great Britain and Ireland, in the Walker Cup Match. First established in 1922, the original match was played at the National Golf Links of America at Southampton, New York.
The Cup was named after George Herbert Walker, president of the USGA in 1920, and grandfather of future US President George H.W. Bush.
9. Commissioner's Trophy

The Commissioner's Trophy is presented annually, by the Major League Baseball (MLB) commissioner, to the National or American League team that wins the World Series. Of the five major North American sports, (i.e., football, baseball, basketball, hockey and soccer), it is the only trophy not named after a person.
The prize (not named until 1985) was first awarded in 1967, when the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Boston Red Sox.
10. Philip F. Anschutz Trophy

In 1996, the first season of Major League Soccer (MLS), the Rothenberg Trophy was awarded. It was named for the league founder, Alan Rothenberg. A second version of the Rothenberg Trophy was introduced in 1999. It, too, was phased out in 2008, with the introduction of the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy, named after the league's co-founder.
It is a silver trophy given to the winners of the MLS Cup.
