Red Vogt thought of the name Nascar, for National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. Bill France Sr. is the founder of "NASCAR," and Fireball Roberts and Lee Petty were some of the first drivers of the sport.

Answer: 11

Cale Yarborough and Darrell Waltrip also drove the number eleven car to three championships each.

Answer: Harry Ranier

Some believe the 28 to be a jinxed car in Nascar. It is the car number Davey Allison was assigned to when he was killed in 1993. It was also the car number that Ernie Irvan drove when he had a near fatal crash at Michigan in 1994 while leading the points.

Bobby Labonte won the 2000 championship with Joe Gibbs Racing, and two years later Stewart accomplished this feat. Stewart won the IRL championship in 1997 and his first Nascar championship in 2002.

Answer: Mark Martin

The inaugural race at the track was held in 1998. Mark Martin driving a Ford beat fellow Roush Racing driver Jeff Burton by 1.6 seconds.
