The match was played on the 14th August at 12:45pm. The match finished 1-1, with Djbrill Cisse and Jermain Defoe the goalscorers.

2. Jean-Alain Boumsong joined Newcastle United in January, but from which club did he move?

Answer: Rangers

Boumsong is a Cameroon-born French international signed from Rangers in January 2005. He previously played for French clubs Le Havre and Auxerre.

3. Rafael Benitez, the Liverpool manager was born where in Spain?

Answer: Madrid

Before joining Liverpool, he managed Valencia where he won two La Liga titles and one UEFA Cup.

4. One of these four teams did not lose to Chelsea in the Premiership?

Answer: Manchester City

Surprisingly, Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 at the City of Manchester Stadium, and drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge. Liverpool, Manchester United and West Brom were all beaten 1-0 by Cheslea at Stamford Bridge.

Dennis Rommedahl joined Charlton Athletic in July 2004 when he was signed from PSV Eindhoven.

Answer: Croatian

During his playing career, Zajec played for both Dynamo Zagreb and Panathinaikos. He also captained Yugoslavia and won 36 caps. Later, he was a Director of Football at both Dynamo Zagreb and Panathinaikos as well.

Answer: Real Madrid

He thought that he was talking to Emilio Butragueno, the Real Madrid sporting director. This did not go down too well with the Arsenal fans, unsuprisingly!
