Answer: Collingwood

It was only after his request for a clearance that Richmond decided to give him a trial at the club before allowing a clearance to be granted. How lucky they were as Jack "Captain Blood" Dyer (1931-1949) went on to become a Richmond and VFL/AFL Legend.

Answer: Ian Stewart

Ian Stewart only played 78 games for the Tigers and was one of the Interchange in the team. Gordon Strang played 116 games, Bill Barrott (120) and Geoff Raines (134).

Answer: Play in six losing Grand Finals

He actually did play in two winning Grand Final teams of 1932 and 1934. However, his losing Grand Finals were 1928, 1929, 1933,1940, 1942 and 1943. He never did kick 100 goals in a season but finished with 970 goals in 294 games. He won the VFL Goal Kicking in 1940 with 92 goals.
