Answer: White Sox

The Royals shutout the White Sox in the first game of the season 3-0.
2. Who came in for Mike Sweeney when he was injured?

Answer: Ken Harvey

Sweeney was placed on the DL on June 19 with nerve pain in his neck and back.
3. What Royals pitcher was taken out for a couple games for blisters on his hand?

Answer: Affeldt

Jeremy Affeldt was taken out of the game on April 20th because of blisters. He finished the season 7-6.

The Cleveland Indians beat the Royals 6-1 in the tenth game of the season to end the streak.
