4. On a winter sports holiday, what would you do with a Ski-Doo?

Answer: Drive it

The best way to describe a Ski-Doo is a powered sled with skis at the front and caterpillar tracks at the rear. They are steered like a motorcycle and can be very fast and maneuverable. They are a very quick way of getting around the slopes and are often used by the ski patrols for mountain rescues.

Answer: Michael Edwards

Eddie The Eagle represented Great Britain, but scored a notable lack of success in the 60m and 90m ski jumping events - coming last among all those who finished. The media and the Great British public took this heroic loser to their hearts, even if his lack of ability embarrassed the more straight-laced British winter olympics establishment. Michael Edwards is a native of Cheltenham in England and worked as a plasterer.

Unfortunately, Edwards was not as fit as the other competitors and did not have the same financial backing.

His "15 minutes of fame" earned him a career in television and after-dinner speaking.

Answer: Robert Redford

Gene Hackman co-starred in this 1969 production as a team coach who tried to keep a maverick competitor in check. Redford played a talented racer who was single-mined in the pursuit of success at the expense of any personal relationship. The movie was something of a financial flop.

Answer: Vancouver, Canada

The first Winter Olympics were in Chamonix, France, in 1924.
