The Patriots went 1-15 a year after the '89 Cowboys and a year before the '91 Colts also went 1-15. The '92 Seahawks fared slightly better, going 2-14.

Jackson suffered his injury in a 20-10 Raiders' victory over the Bengals in the AFC Divisional Playoffs.
