The Lions won the 2000 Grey Cup and captured their 4th Championship in franchise history. The Lions defeated the Montreal Alouettes by a score of 28-26.
2. CFL legend Lui Passaglia played for the Lions from 1972 to 2001?

Lui joined the Lions in 1976 (not 1972), and played his entire career in British Columbia. He retired in 2001, after winning his 3 Grey Cup ring with the Leos.

Dickenson signed with the Lions after a 2 year stint in the NFL. During his time down in the U.S., he played third string QB for the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, and the San Diego Chargers. Mark Washington joined the team after winning the 2002 Grey Cup in Montreal, and Chris Brazzell left the Edmonton Eskimos to sign with the team and provide a deep threat, after the departure of Alfred Jackson.
