Three Polish women tennis players competed in 2009 at the French Open: Agnieszka Radwanska, Urszula Radwanska, and Marta Domachowska. Agnieszka Radwanska repeated her accomplishment from 2008 by reaching the 4th round (lost to Kuznetsova 4-6, 6-1, 1-6). Urszula Radwanska lost to young Belgian player Yanina Wickmayer 6-4, 3-6, 0-6 in the 1st round. Marta Domachowska lost in the 1st round to Li Na 4-6, 2-6.
