In a first, for daytime television, "All My Children" showed Margo Flax's recovery from a face lift she had just had. Margo decided to have the face lift so she could get Paul Martin to fall in love with her. In real life, the actress who portrayed Margo, Eileen Letchworth, had a face lift.

Jeff went on trial for murdering Jason Maxwell since he was the prime suspect due to how Jason called Jeff and asked him to come meet him the night he was murdered. Paul was hired to defend Jeff and, despite how Jeff was his nephew, the court allowed him to be his attorney. Paul was successful since Jeff was acquitted after it was determined he did not murder Jason.
3. In 1974, Linc Tyler returned to town. Who else returned with him?

Answer: Anne Tyler

In the previous year, Anne was heartbroken when her husband, Paul Martin, divorced her so she left town. She and Linc decided to return to town in 1974. Prior to their return, they lived in Seattle. When both of them returned, Paul had started to become smitten with Margo Flax and this upset Anne.

Phil had finally accepted the fact that Tara was married to Chuck and came to terms with it. Phil started to see Erica more and he remembered how Erica was the one who told him the truth of his biological parents. Phil and Erica decided to start dating and Phil started to feel better.
