Batman and Robin spoke about how they would find a way out of Mr. Freeze's deathtrap so Robin said that, if they did make it out alive, he would spend much time in a Turkish bath. Batman then remembered that Turkish baths operated on pipes of moisture and that removing the moisture caused frost.

He realized that knowing this would help them out a lot in this predicament. Batman then instructed Robin to try and locate anything metal inside the huge snow cone as a way to help them get out of the death trap.

He stated this since he claimed to have wanted to tarnish their image for a little bit longer. Then, Mr. Freeze asked one of his cohorts, Chill, to get him his instant camera.

Mr. Freeze mentioned that he had a crime planned that would be considered the biggest crime ever committed in history. Then, he turned to Miss Iceland and told her that it would not be long until her temperature reached his. He said that once this happened, she would fall in love with him and then eventually marry him.

Batman and Robin got back to the Batcave after they escaped from Mr. Freeze's death trap and they noticed an article in "The Gotham City Herald". The article claimed that Batman had stolen Commissioner Gordon's wrist watch. Batman noticed that the photo that accompanied the article had been doctored.

Batman got to thinking about how best to trap Mr. Freeze so he came up with the solution of he and Robin hanging up their capes. Alfred immediately objected to this but Batman told him not to worry. He mentioned that the plan would only be temporary and would be a way to hopefully lull Mr. Freeze into a false sense of security.

In the previous episode, Mr. Freeze made it look as if Batman and Robin had committed bribery as a way to tarnish their images. Midway through this episode, there was a press conference at Gotham City Police Headquarters where Commissioner Gordon fielded questions from reporters. Nellie Majors asked him if Batman would be held on charges of bribery or if he was exempt from the law. Commissioner Gordon reminded Nellie that nobody was immune from prosecution under his watch. Commissioner Gordon did not get around to answering Nellie's question.

Midway through the episode, Mr. Freeze mentioned that he would be burying Gotham City under a sheet of ice unless he was paid one billion dollars. Miss Iceland was nearby and reminded Mr. Freeze not to be so giddy about his plan since good will always triumphed over evil. Shortly after unveiling this plan, he told Commissioner Gordon what he wanted or else he could expect to see Gotham City turned into an ice cube.

Batman and Robin nabbed Mr. Freeze and were then congratulated for it at Gotham City Police Headquarters. While there, Batman was on the phone with Warden Crichton and told him that Mr. Freeze had to always wear his special suit in order to stay within a reasonable temperature for himself. He also stated that he ought to lower the temperature in Mr. Freeze's cell.
